WHY HEALTHCARE IS AT THE CENTER OF THE CONVERSATION FOR THE NEXT DECADE AND WHAT YOU NEED TO KOW FOR YOU AND YOUR CLIENTS

Sponsored by Communities Foundation of Texas

The changes and impact of health care reform present unprecedented challenges and opportunities for individuals, employers and the health care industry.  A panel of health care and business experts will discuss these changes, providing information on current laws and realities, new business models and future trends and their potential impact, including practical recommendations on navigating the emerging health care landscape for you and your clients. Gary Brock is president and chief operating officer for Baylor Scott & White Health, North Texas.  In his present role, he provides operational strategic leadership and operational oversight for Baylor Health Care System, an integrated health care delivery system serving the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas region.  Mr. Brock also serves as the current chairman of the Texas Hospital Association Board of Trustees and is a member of the American Hospital Association Policy Review Board 7 for the State of Texas. Dr. David Winter is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Clinical Officer for HealthTexas Provider Network, a 650+ physician organization in partnership with Baylor Scott & White.  He is also in the private practice of internal medicine on the campus of Baylor University Medical Center.  He has a bi-weekly television series on WFAA-TV, the ABC affiliate that is also available on Google’s blog, Healthy Hangout. Rowland (Robin) K. Robinson is president of the Baylor Health Care System Foundation, a separately incorporated 501 (c) (3) organization that raises and manages charitable funds in support of the Baylor Health Care System.  Previously, Robinson spent 26 years in the banking industry. In his last capacity as president of Bank of America in Dallas, he represented the bank and its 8,000 associates in a wide range of business, civic and political venues.
