LIFE INSURANCE WITH HIGHER EXEMPTION LEVELS

GREG HOLMGREN

  Sponsored by Texas Women’s Foundation

Life insurance policies are designed to help accomplish the client’s objectives; they are not, in themselves, the plan. So, when plans are updated, clients should also review their life insurance policies.  Many of our clients purchased life insurance policies to meet specific needs that have gone away as the environment has changed. What should they do with those policies? How might that same policy help them accomplish other significant objectives? This session will identify options for those clients, ways advisors can help those clients think through their alternatives, and present case studies to help advisors better identify their specific clients who could benefit from a conversation. Greg Holmgren is the Advanced Agent Development Officer for New York Life Insurance Company.  He leads a team that works with top agents, their clients and their clients’ professional advisors to enable these clients to overcome planning obstacles and achieve their specific financial goals.  As a sought-after platform speaker, Greg speaks to audiences around the country on financial strategies and key planning issues that can impact their lives. With over 36 years of insurance industry experience -- 33 with New York Life -- he brings a wealth of insightful and relevant knowledge to every situation.  Greg holds a B.A. degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.
