Emerging professionals are considered to be age 40 and under or less than 5 years in their respective discipline
Join the Dallas Estate Planning Council (Emerging Professionals) as three industry experts provide insight on estate planning for gifts of art and educate us on how to assist our clients with: Transferring art during life, planning for art at death, and implementing the plan at the appropriate time.

TOPIC: Macchiatos & Monet: Creating and Implementing a Succession Plan with Unique Assets
As advisors of clients who own unique assets, we need to be able to recognize and understand the special issues involved. It is important for us to be familiar with options for transfers of art and other collectibles during life and at death, the income tax and basis issues involved, how to procure the right appraisal, and common mistakes to avoid throughout the planning and implementation processes.
