This, one hour key note presentation, is designed specifically to educate the trusted advisor on the best practice procedures for protecting the affluent client. A sampling of the topics to be covered are as follows: (1) State of the nation as it relates to risk presented to the affluent from domestic and international sources; (2) Establishing a valid and reliable threat level; (3) Residential security and mitigating home invasion/home burglary; (4) Communication security and the risk from hacking into personal information as well as audio/visual espionage; (5) Travel security and the risk to children/adults traveling abroad; (6) Employee/contractor vetting and the menu of investigative due diligence; and (7) Crafting the family-specific crisis preparedness and response plan for issues such as extortion, kidnap, stalking, threats of violence and terrorist activity. Prior to assuming his current position of Chief Executive Officer, Risk Control Strategies, PAUL VIOLLIS, Sr., Ph.D. resume includes President and CEO of Corporate Risk Consulting, Senior Managing Director for Citigate Global Intelligence & Security and VP at Kroll where he served on their post September 11th Threat Assessment Team.
